How was your Memorial Day Weekend?

We had a raft-up of 21 Sea Rays, weather in the 90's but a nice wind most of the weekend. My camera settings were tampered with so these pictures aren't as good as they should be but you can at least see what it looked like.

It was great. We had our 7th annual Jones Island family and friends trip.
35 of us on 6 boats and two tents.

Tried to get my boat ready for Memorial Weekend and fell off the side deck and broke my right arm in two places and severely sprained my left arm and wrist. A couple CSR snobs were nice enough to invite my wife and I up to Solomon's Island and spend time on their Sea Rays (Skip now has an awesome 52 DB) and jumped between boats and fell again and broke my toe and messed up my right arm more.

I'm out for the summer. I feel like I have been beat with a stick. Boating sucks.

Dang Todd, that looks like fun!

We spent the weekend IN the water, not ON the water. Our oldest grandson's 4th birthday party on Saturday and a smaller family get together on Sunday.

You are a hoot. If you feel like you have been beaten with a stick, you might want to see if your wife's fingerprints are on the stick.

You are too old to:

1. be jumping between swim platforms
2. doing the splits when you land

You're lucky you didn't castrate yourself when you fell. Hell, if you had fallen in the water, you would probably drown because a guy with 2 broken arms cannot swim!

How many broken bones do you have healing right now?

We'll let you ride on my boat if you sign a medical release and an accident waiver...

I too had a fantastic weekend. First real nice weather of the season for us. I took the canvas down last Thursday afternoon and didn't put it back up until this morning... It always makes me happy when I can leave it down...

I met some great people from all over Lake Erie and even bumped into a few people from CSR. Really enjoyed the weekend and totally relaxed which I needed. What did everyone else do.

Well, I boarded the boat on Friday and didn't get off until Monday morning. Sorry I didn't take pics, way to busy thinking about nothing, it was a perfect weekend.
