Bahama's have been great this year and trying to get one more trip in but with the changing covid conditions and the peak of the H season not sure if that is going to work out. Might make a run to the keys again for a long weekend or get crazy weather permitting and do a Chub Cay extended weekend get away.....

My summer? Oh its been wonderful, boat broke since early June, zodiac got an air leak took me a month to find. Someone stole my shore cord.
My life has turned into a Merle Haggard song. If i had a dog, it would have died.

Have not gotten out nearly as much as I wanted, but heading down tomorrow for a week - hopefully get some decent weather and hit the upper keys for a few days - will be back in oct/nov for boat show and key west race week

We have had a good season despite less than stellar weather all of July. We went to Nantucket for 3 long weekends, 10 days total. We are on the hook in Nantucket harbor as I write this enjoying the day before we run back to Falmouth.
We spent 10 days on a trip to Maine and New Hampshire. We have spent many days on Martha’s Vineyard but that is only at 20min ride for us. All in all we put almost 100hrs on the boat so far this season, we went in the water 1st week of May. We should hit 130hrs for the season. We have a couple more weekends in the Vineyard planned for Aug then Provincetown in Sept and Newport for the Newport boat show. After that the weather dictates how many more weekends we get put.
Our kids have been at 7.5 weeks of overnight camp so we have had the pleasure of doing some adulting for most of the summer. They are coming home on Thursday so it will be really nice to see them and get them on the boat.

Similar pickle as Pirate Lady. I've gotten 6 hours of cruising time this spring/summer.

Was chasing a loss of prime problem that only resolved when I replace everything in the fuel system from F/W separator to carb. New F/W and housing, fuel pump, all hoses, hose ties, check valves, inline filter, etc.

Once the loss of prime was resolved, engine ran very rough. pulled plugs and 1 & 3 were wet no sign of firing. Replaced all six plugs (again), wires and coils (general maint due anyways). Took it to dock to test yesterday and still dies when giving it throttle. Compression test was planned but that fell though. Going to need to buy the compression gauge and figure out how to do that solo. Plan on doing cold at storage and then hot test in parking lot of launch.

Mine has been frustrating. Looking for boat but nothing worthy out there at fair price so I’m landlocked.

If this continues I’ll have to succumb to buying a new center console w outboards and blend in.
