350 Mag Bravo3
Guys,

I'm new to I/O's. How do i winterize my 350 mag bravo three.
I was told to use muffs on the outdrive to run antifreeze into the motor. I was also told to remove the drive and place an attachment on the motor and run the antifreeze thru it because the bravo 3 cannot suck the antifreeze into the motor because it doesnt have an impeller. Which is correct?
Also how do i go about fogging the motor?
Any other information would be appreciated.

Thanks

Lot's and lot's lot's of posts/threads about winterizing. Try using the search tool so we don't end up repeating what's already been said a hundred times.

The impeller is located on the engine, not in the drive.

Fogging can be done via the fuel filter.

Please don't take offense to this, but the questions you are asking, while good questions, are extremely basic. I would highly suggest having someone do the winterizing for you. This is not the area you want to use the "trial and error" method. If you err, you will need a new engine. Maybe hire someone that will allow you to watch.

I would also suggest against the "suck it in from outside method". Best to pour directly into hoses to be sure you have straight anti-freeze and not an AF/Water mixture.
Oh, welcome aboard!
