So now I have my new head unit and my JL speakers all installed, it sounds great but for the rattling of the wires in the aluminum arch of my boat. Trying to develop a plan to stop this, so looking for suggestions. The wires for the arch lights, nav lights, radar, GPS antenna, etc. all just lay in the arch. When a song with a lot of bass comes on the wires rattle very loudly.

I am thinking about ways to stop this, the only solution I have come up with is to try and run the wires in sections of the foam pipe wrap insulation. What other solutions can you think of?

Get yourself a pool noodle or two and use them to fill the void in the arch next to the wires. They would be easily removable, should you need to access the existing wires, or run new ones.

Of course you could also turn down the volume. No one else wants to hear it anyway. just sayin' ;)

tighten up your looms by bundling the wires together wraping them in foam weather striping tape. A tight loom is heavier and will not vibrate as much. Wraps of weather stripping tape will insulate any remainging vibration.
