Depth finder is not working so I am trying to check for loose connections on my tach. gauge. Can someone tell me how you remove it from the console?

If your depth isn't working you may have a bad transducer. I had this on my 240 years ago.

Marine Max service Mgr. stated that it is very rare for the transducer to go bad. He suggested I look for a loose wire behind tach. gauge.

Could be a loose wire, but I've been told exactly the opposite of this by my dealer. Search transducer on this forum and you'll see other threads on bad sensors.

Just letting you know you were right. Marine Max looked at my problem along with numerous other issues ($15,000 worth)and it was the transducer. Thank you for replying to my post.

Glad you found the issue.
