how to remove my clarion xmd3

It is secured tightly in its mounting bracket. how do i remove it ? thanks in advance

If yours is like the one on our boat, the front covers at the left and right sides of the front panel can be gently pryed off. Left cover pops off to the left, right to right. Once off, you will see mounting screws holding entire unit to wall.

Correct......on mine I then needed to remove the power distribution panel and reach up to disconnect a strap that secured the back of the unit prior to pulling it out. You can also get to the connections without pulling the head unit out this way giving you much more room to operate.
