It looks like I have the Seastar hydraulic steering system. I have tight steering, so I wanted to start with greasing the system. Any idea how to grease the starboard grease valve? There is no way to get a grease gun on or even get the cap off. See pictures.

NO GREASE in there, that is Hydraulic steering, there is hydraulic fluid in there. I would disconnect at rudder tie bar and see if it is steering that is stiff or rudders are stiff moving left and right. There are no grease points on that steering that I know of.

I was surprised how hard the steering is on mine. I always had power steering on my other boats and when I got my 2004 320 I was hoping there would be a better and easier way to navigate.

Agree, when docking, especially in windier conditions, I like to do some advanced sideway walking (turning into the active engine). This maneuver is exceedingly difficult with the tight steering.
