How To Get Better Answers On Internet Forums…

Every time I have a question I really need an answer for I ask it in a forum, I then log into the same forum with a different user name, post a stupid answer and the thread blows up with posts telling the second poster they are an idiot and this is the right way to do it. Proving that folks don’t care as much about helping others as they do correcting others…

I have never had that issue on CSR and I've been here a long time so there's a very good chance a percentage of my questions were stupid. You'll get some silly stabs at humor for sure but nothing malicious.

The one thing I notice is that people often read half the question and pop an answer or comment in which was addressed in the second half of the post. Maybe it'd help if I was a little more succinct.

Well that is a ridiculous approach. The right way to get action on a forum is to use 3 separate user IDs, then post conflicting answers and recommend an................... WINK
