Good Morning to ALL, I'm new to this site and have read most of the FAQ pertaining to fixing replacing
helm-dash panel gauges, which by the way look very nicely done. although i haven't seen anything on what
to remove to get to the panel ( the order in which to take off first ) is there a video or pictures showing
what's first in order.

I have a 93 sea ray sundancer 370 the helm has bumpers around the instrument panel
so you can't see the fasteners in the panel, it looks like the bumpers have to come off but HOW? I cant find
( or i'm looking in the wrong place )a video or pictures on on this subject. Can anyone help me or send me to the right place to look...:smt100

Thanks in advance

Can you post a few pictures of what you got there? Get the upper dash, lower dash and the entire dash (even below the steering wheel).

yes i can take some pictures. as soon as i get to the boat maybe later tonight

thanks for the reply

The bumpers sound like screw caps. If so they can be pried off with a flat screwdriver. Replacements can be bought at Home Depot in black brown or white. Here is my "after" picture after replacing the panels on my boat.

Aha! Bumpers = Screw caps... that makes sense! I had, in my mind, some kind of long, rope-like thing that was wrapped around the perimeter of the panel (thinking a PO did some handy-work).

Thanks! Frank that really helps i didn't want to go in half blind and screw things up, I'll be very careful pulling on the " muffs "

Thanks AGAIN Frank
