I'm putting in a home generator and thought I would see what Champion had to say about crimping wires. I remember my favorite line from Galaxy Quest, "It just doesn't seem right!"

Let’s see where this goes…..

Soldering has always been my way of wiring cars and boats. Anything else is a short or long term problem, usually an intermittent problem. Again, it was Lazy Dazy who pointed out that extended use ships and boats vibrate causing fatigue and fracture of solder hardened wires where they protrude beyond the plastic insulating shroud. I'll still solder as even in the YouTube, it is recommended that completed crimps be given the yank test. How disappointing when the damn thing comes apart!
