This summer I bought a 1979 24' Flybridge boat with twin 470's. The engines are factory installed engines. I have one bilge blower pulling air from the bottom of the bilge and exiting it out the stern in the factory location. When I open the engine hatch I can feel the heat rolling out even with the bilge blower on the whole time. I would like to increase the ventilation thru the engine compartment but the boat only has the two small intake grills on each side and the one exit grill on the stern. I am going to add a second bilge blower but I still would like to have more air flowing thru the bilge. Does anybody have any ideas?

Here is a picture of the inlet. The grill is only about 2" tall.

we would add more vents and swap out to duel 4" blowers instead of the common 3" blowers if you brought it into my shop for this issue. shouldnt be a difficult upgrade.
