The float switch activated sump pump under the cabin of my 250 Sundancer is for pumping out water that drains from the head's shower drain. How do I get to it to replace/repair it? Can't do it from engine compartment and I can't find a thing about how to access the sump pump in the manuals. Anybody know how to get to it?

One of the steps that lead down into the cabin is on hinges & lifts up. Remove the trash can & you'll see the sump box. 4 screws removes the top & the pump is in the box. Before you replace it, verify that it is just not gunked up with debris from the shower drain.

As to the bolded part, and in conjunction with assumption that you've never cleaned it out, I'd say wear a mask when you open it up. That thing can get pretty nasty! I clean mine out a couple times a year and it still stinks when I open it up.
