How the heck?

I have a 1982 SRV270 with twin 228 and Alpha 1's.
My hydraulic line from the pump to the manifold is bad.

But how the heck do I reach it?

I have looked in my book but as always it gives you no clue how to reach the damn thing. It looks like it attaches under the inner transom plate. If this is the case, must I pull the freaking engine to get to it? :smt013

Ok I got it.... I had to lay across the engines and some how reached my hand under the exhaust tubes, was stuck there for a while and was able to ease and fish the hose out the hole. What a head ache!

Now you know why some of us are serious advocates of inboards or v-drives...........
