How often do you check your boat?

Twice...three times a week. Any bad storms, nor easter....every day it's around. It helps that I store my work trailer at the marina

I get dirty looks from my wife every time I check on mine after work, but hey, I have to come home sometime right?

Ours is 20-25 minutes from home, unfortunately my warehouse is 25 minutes in totally the other direction!

However my daughters school is 5 minutes from te marina, so she only has to suggest that she would lie a lift on a morning!

Mine is an hour away, ideally every week. It has been flooded and can't get to the boat. So relying on the marina updates. Been three weeks. Looks like we can get to the boat this weekend.

I'm docked about 10-15 minutes from my house. A bit longer in rush hour and on game days for the Nationals since I have to pass Nats park.

During the summer I'm there every week, sometimes twice. It's a nice place in the evenings.

During the winter once a month or after a heavy snowfall. (Haven't had snow in the past two winters)

My boat is almost 90 minutes from my house... Fortunately, I have a job that allows me to telecommute at least once and sometimes twice a week. Needless to say, I spend those days with my cell phone and laptop at the boat! I actually get quite a lot of work done while still managing stress relief.

This is exactly what I do, I take my laptop and cell phone and VPN into my company network. I get quite a bit of work sitting on the boat in the marina

Real shame the 3G and phone connection at the Marina is patchy, Coffee Machine on the boat works well though, so I don't get my peace disturbed much!

Also find if I put my mobile phone in my IPad bag, I don't here it ring

Mine is sitting on the trailer in the back yard for the winter. I walk around it almost every day and climb aboard to tinker with something two or three times a week. When I dock it at the marina that is only 4 miles from my house. I usually spend every weekend on it and sometimes 2 or 3 nights a week. I guess I've got it bad.
Taking her out tomarrow after work for the weekend. Been so looking forward to this boating season.

I am usually out of town Mon-Fri, but its in the water (dry storage) Fri night until Sun, then I wash it and flush it and put it away until the following Fri.

We slip about 25 minutes across town, and its the same by freeway or by back roads, I've tried every permutation to shave time off that number but its always 25 minutes.

I check on it as often as time permits, and its probably sacriledge to some here, but honestly I can sometimes , especially in winter, go six weeks without laying eyes on her. I am just a very busy person, I work out of my house so I don't have a commute that would take me in her direction.

I resolved to use her more this summer, but we will see what happens.
