How many anodes on your prop shafts?

Oh and I only have a zinc clamp on each shaft and a button zinc on each rudder. Lots of boat have a plate on the transom. I do not even have that.

ps.....don’t mix anode types. If you add aluminum to the shafts, then all the other anodes must be aluminum.

44 Sedan Bridge, I use one zinc per shaft, trim tabs and divers dream. Tabs and shafts every 5 months. The divers dream every other 5 months. Our harbor has several steel hulled commercial fishing boats. They tend to weld on deck at times... hence you know where the grounding goes... ugh. Good news no issues on the expensive hardware. Zincs are cheap in the scheme of things.

I think I am going to add these this year. I too am tiered of the shaft zincs slipping down and vibrating. Very glad I found this thread.
