well,it all started when we wanted a bigger boat to go out on the river with[live in red wing,mn. next to mississippi]have a flat bottom that we take to get to secluded sand beaches to camp but we wanted a bigger boat to haul gear and 3 dogs.bought a 22 ft pontoon w/tlr. but i think the river god saw fit that we shouldnt have it.as we made our way home from purchase point[75 miles from home]it started to downpour,had no cover on boat,boat got too heavy from rain build up and trailer bent into ground at the front wishbone,called a flatbed and hauled it to sons house[2-miles away] rented a trailer and got it home.put it on wood blocks in driveway for the winter[was late fall when brought home]and middle of winter,a new house renter across from us[driveway inline with ours with a street in between]somehow back his suv and crossed street,into my driveway and into pontoon pushing whole boat into garage 2 ft. had to be drunk,wife saw me out there totally pissed off next day and she said her husband did it,foot slipped of clutch and went to door but no one answered[bull]glad i had boat ins.got more than pontoons worth after 2 weeks of dealing with ins.co.stripped boat of motor and new seats,sold them,salvage co.came and hauled boat[ins.co. said it was being scrapped so i took off valuables]got check,everything all good with ins.co. and found my 81 sea ray sundancer guess i was meant to have a sea ray.funny thing is the moron who trashed my pontoon is an commercial jet pilot:smt021 i will never be on his plane:smt009 river god works in mysterious ways.
