How far do you drive ?

240 Miles each way, 3 - 3.5 hours depending. 10 - 12 weekends per year plus one or two full weeks. We will probably retire in our condo.

30 min to the marina, then another 45 minute drive to the beach. We are on the water 3 out of 4 weekends and since our weather is so mild we boat year round.

12.5 miles to the boat club...... much better than when the boat was in Key Largo and was 80 miles...

38 miles from our city house to lake house. We go every weekend, even in the winter. Our place got smashed by a tornado April 10 and is still under repair, so we drive out and back on Sats and Suns for now

Wow that's crazy. Is that where my Allstate premiums go?

Damn, sorry to see that. I hope you weren't there. I've lived through a couple tornados, and they are scary big time!

I hated those 15 pine trees, but they belong to the TVA - they were not mine to cut. I figured they would break and fall one at a time on the house over the years - but instead an F3 tonado took them all down on the house at once!

I store my boat 5 miles from work (20 miles from home). The East Coast is 50 miles away, and the west coast is about 100-150 miles away (depending on location).

We usually have about two weekends on the water during the warm months, and about one weekend a month during the "off" season. Plus, at least one 10 day trip on the water.

I just got back from Bimini. I trailered the boat 220 miles to Ft Lauderdale, and then navigated over to Biminin and back. Last year was a Key West trip.

Good topic.

Every weekend I drive 1hr 15m. Philly to Bohemia River MD.

Let's see... when in MA we trailer it about 80 miles to Buzzard's Bay or 50 miles to Gloucester.

Then we haul it 1500 miles south to FL 3 to 5 times a year.

When in FL it's 10 minutes from our house to the marina.

15K miles per year on the trailer...

Over 300 miles from Phoenix to San Diego. Get there about every three weeks. Soooo worth it when it's 110 here...

72 miles each way takes me 1 hour 10 minutes to get the the marina from the house. Also have a 21 foot boat that we take 3 blocks to the lake. The Lake just gets more and more crowded with boaters so we tend to go down to the marina and cruise around the delta.

10 miles from dock to door (we go home to get the mail every couple of days), live aboard all season (which I might add is WAY too short!).

Lets see -

30 Min - Flint River
90 Min - Lake Eufaula
2 1/2 Hr - Panama City (The great thing there is that once I am down, the boat is in the back in it's slip and I am a 5 min walk to it.)
