How do you secure Kayaks to your boat?

I deflate my inflatable kayak, roll it up and bungee it onto the swim platform. It is small enough, deflated, that it could be snuggled into a compartment. The two-piece paddles go into the ski locker.

We keep two kayaks on the bow of our 250. It does not affect viability.

For those of you using Bungee's... a word of caution. These things let loose and are extremely dangerous! A friend of mine was tying his sons bicycles down in the back of his truck, one let loose, and hit him in the eye. Detached his retina from the back of his eye socket! After quite a few visits(they did only a few laser zaps during each visit) to the operating room they re-attached it using a laser to zap the back of the eye ball to the eye socket. (basically burning the material in the back of the eyeball right to the socket)

Luckily, he didn't lose his vision, but it was very close!
