How Do You Reach the Anchor Light on a 44 Sedan Bridge Radar Arch?

I just moved up to the 44 and need to replace the all around light on top of the radar arch. This may sound stupid, but I can not figure out a safe way to get to that light to change the bulb without possibly breaking my neck. Do you have to unlace the canvas top? I do not have the 1/2 hardtop option. Thanks...

From your picture it looks like the easiest way to do it would be to remove the canvas at the front of the arch, then use a short (3-step) stepladder to reach it.
