How do you clean and or wash your custom bedding

We wash the sheets etc. and dry clean the pillow cases ,comforter once a year in the winter. Bob

A lot of fabric mills will apply a finishing process to the material before shipping the fabric to stores or manufacturers. If a finish has been applied the fabric usually ships with instructions to dry clean only or cleaning code S (spot clean and do not saturate with water) regardless of the fiber/fabric. Even a 100% cotton fabric with a finishing applied will have care instructions to not machine wash. The fabric will not necessarily be damaged but the finishing process applied can be broken down. It's hard to say exactly though since you mentioned your bedding didn't come with care instructions.

i thought was odd to have no care instructions. They are the origanels that came with the boat in 2004 from Sea Ray. They are very nice an I Gus's I will bring them to the dry cleaner.

Just a clarification on my original comments....
I was referring to fabrics commonly used to make comforters. I agree with WetPaint - The sheets should be fine in the washing machine.
