My dealer is having a hard time getting my new Raymarine A68 to use the new transducer (CPT110) to show both sonar and engine data from Smartcraft on the screen.
I think this is a first for him, because he doesn't do a whole lot of this stuff.
Any advice on what he needs and how to tie it all together? It's a 2009 Sea Ray 270 SLX. It had a Northstar 550 that was capable of showing engine data, but I never had sonar. In the recent lightning strike I lost the Northstar and transducer, so I selected a replacement based on the fact the Raymarine A68 was the only unit that could fit easily enough (only a slight modification needed) in the hole where the Northstar was. The A68 has built-in sonar and requires the right transducer, which he got. But now he's having a problem having the sonar show up on the screen.
Any installation advice GREATLY appreciated!
