How do I use shore power?

Since I have no way to "test" it to see if its workingthat I'm aware of without intentially reversing the polarity, I do not trust the red light being off. For all I know the lamp just might not be functional.

But just because your microwave works it does not mean you don't have a polarity reversal.

That looks like a standard panel with an indicator for reverse polarity (bad thing). Make sure all of the breakers are off before you plug in, or pull your plug out of the shore power on the dock.
Once you plug in to the dock, make sure the reverse polarity light on the panel is not lit. If it is, don't use that shorepower source. If it isn't, then turn on the Main Breaker on your panel, then any breakers you want to use. Reverse the procedure when getting ready to disconnect from shorepower.
If I'm plugged in, I keep the AC Convertor turned on. It charges my batteries and senses when they are charged, then just tops them off as needed. If yours does the same then you might want to do that too. Your fridge and stove are on one breaker. Keep that turned on if you are using either one. Is your fridge dual voltage? If so, then remember to turn off the 12 volt breaker for it which is probably up by the helm someplace. The last breaker you have is for your outlets. If you are hooked up to shorepower you may want to keep that breaker on too so that when you plug something in it works. A small fan works wonders with no air conditioner.

Thanks jvm, I'm going to follow these directions carefully when I plug in tomorrow.

Your refrigerator should have an on/off switch. Make sure to turn it off if you are trailering the boat or you will drain your batteries. The "converter" breaker is for your combination battery charger and 12V power supply. If you ever use your stove top while connected to shore power, note that the stove top has a switch on it that has to be closed when the top is opened.

BTW, my old 230WE at Shell Island, Panama City Beach, Fl. We liked that boat. Very easy to trailer. And, we took it to Canada a couple of times.

Ok I can't figure out how to use the fridge while out on the water. Am I missing something? Can it only be used on shore power?

You need to find out if the refrigerator is a combination 12V/120V. Someone may have stuck a bar fridge in there. Get the make and model number and search it out.

Missed that somehow. Check the fridge make and model. You may have a blown 12V fuse if it is the correct fridge.
Don't ask me where the fuse, I don't know. On my 270, there is a breaker on the right side of the dash panel.

Also, there may be a 12v REFRIGERATOR switch somewhere that has to be on when using it in 12v mode, in addition to the 120V breaker in the electrical panel
