How do I drain the water tank on 1979 26' Sundancer?

I just bought a used boat. It is a 1979 260 Sundancer, 26' and it has a water tank for the shower, toilet and sink. Problem is, the water in the holding tank is nasty (probably with some sort of chemical the PO put in the tank to keep it from freezing). The boat has been in storage for 15 years. Can someone tell me how to drain the water so I can put fresh water in it? Thanks for the assistance.:huh:

Pull the line that exits to the pump and empty it into the bilge. That, or just turn on the pump and pump the water through the faucets into the sink that drains overboard.

I'd say just pump it all thru the lines. They are all going to have to be flushed, several times, anyway.

Make sure that you remove the faucet aerators, they will get clogged up and you wont be able to pump out the tank. You probably have a in-line filter that will also need to be replaced after the tank has been flushed and disinfected, should be near the pump.
