How do I adjust my steering?

My boat steers sharp to the right but not so much to the left. I have power steering. Is this just an adjustment at the cable? I've checked a book on it but its a bit confusing. Do I remove the pin on the left locking sleeve then adjust the cable? Or is there more to it?

called torque steer due to prop rotation...they all do it under power

The drive physically will not turn all the way to the left out of the water, engine running or not. It seems off center.

Possible steering arm installed 90* off onto steering shaft? Quint?

That's what I'm thinking. Either when it was serviced last year they may have moved it or it got knocked over while anchored in the shallows.

But I don't know how to get it back. The weekend is here so I can tinker with it in the shade Sat or Sunday, just not sure what I'm looking at yet.

The out drive only moves half as much left as it does to the right. It makes docking a PITA.

Thanks! It doesn't effect me at cruising speed but at idle speeds for docking and reverse its hurindass!

Dug in to it with a flashlight and found a chunk of rusted metal in the arm cavity. It seems to lock better. Didn't try it under power as it was dark out. I'll check it tomarow.
