How Did You Learn About CSR

Lurker around SRO untill it was taken down.
I think I found the link from Jim’s BOE site after meeting him at the Bay Bridge Boat show and got some slick sheets of electronics. Signed up after having some problems with my engines and Turtle Tone helped me out. I think he gave me some good advice like read the manual.

I had just begun to post on the old forum when it closed down. It took me a while to find that one. I had begun to shop for my current boat, and was looking for help when I found the old site. When it closed, it took me a couple of days or weeks (wasn't right away) to find the new site via Google. I kept finding the old one again.

Originally was an SRO member. Found this board after SRO went down.

Just when I thought I was out, (SRO closed) they pulled me back in. (CSR opened) Sea Rays are just the crack of fiberglass. :smt100 Now I am calm again.

In April, it will be 7 months since I have seen Stray Cats. If it weren't for CSR, I'd be a hurtin unit by now!

One of the first things I do when I am about to make a major purchase is to google for forums.

When my wife threw down the gauntlet and said "I am buying a boat whether you like it or not", I googled for sea ray forums and found this place.

Regarding sponsorship, I have spent several thousand dollars with BOE marine in the last year. Does that count?

Became interested in buying a Sea Ray about 18 months ago and stumbled (I think) onto the old SRO site. About 2 months into my search for a boat, got sidetracked, and then started in earnest exploring all the possibilities - Sea Ray, Cruisers, 4 Winns (the usual suspects) - one year ago.

I had remembered the SRO site, couldn't find it and Google led me here.

If there was one source of information that ultimately pointed me in the direction of Sea Ray, this place is it. The knowledge and willingness to share it across a broad spectrum of boaters is amazing.

Well played. Beautiful boat.
