How bad is your drive?

1 - 1.5 hours depending on traffic. We go down every weekend April - October (unless something is going on)
Here's the kicker...we had a 21' cuddy with a potty that I always forgot to take out before making up the bed...So I peed off of the finger pier lol
We slept on it a few times but opted to drive back and forth Fri, Sat and Sunday.
Hoping things are different this year now that we have the 27'!

10 miles.....my boat is in town. On the trailer at the house right now. If I can't tow it.....I can't afford it! Being in a slip all summer is nice though, Mike.

Maybe a 30 second walk out the back door and down to the dock.

I do that...sit on the lounge...grab a brew and crank up some Buffett...pissoff the nieghbors

I'm surrounded by corn fields and woods... so I don't worry about nieghbors... sounds like a good time drink one for me!

35 mins from condo, 50 mins from work (except Fridays when the northbound expressway is jammed..add another 20 mins to each then). Every weekend mid April to mid Oct plus a few "commute to work" days when the weather is ideal.

well depends on which boat and which lake.
I'd kill for an 1.5hr drive!! Big boat is a lousy 4 hr drive (I keep hoping the wife one day will agree to move closer) and sometimes we'll tow the little boat with us. It's not the drive there I mind it's the drive back! some how driving home to work and reality after a weekend of fun just seems to take longer:smt009

luckily if we stay local with the little boat it's only a 30 minute tow to the river, 2 local lakes are about a 45-60 min tow

I too have sat in the boat in the back yard and listened to some buffet and drank a cold one! I keep telling the wife I'm going to put a pool behind the boat so we can just float off the back and save ourselves the drive haha.

So the other half is always expressing how she does not like the hour and a half drive that we have to the boat

... I tell her that its not that bad its a mini vacation every weekend and we are far enough from home people dont bother us but if there is an emergency we can get back... So my question is how long is your drive to the boat?

OK.. To the guys that have the boat in the back yard I guess how far is the walk... LOL "yes I'm jealous"

My guess is that it is the company on the ride!

We were about 30 minutes away but moved the boat and it is now an hour away. I like the marina - but the extra hour driving for the weekend does get old. But wouldn't go back to the old marina.

From home 1:55 if I miss the trains.I'm sure you know all about that...

1:25 from work

4 hours to Table Rock, every other weekend, but now that we are at Lake of the Ozarks- 2 hours, every weekend.

86 miles - 1 hr 45 min each way. We go every weekend April to September and then we do the football drive (which is 472 miles, 7 + hours each way within 48 hours, Friday after work to Sunday afternoon home).

about 30 to 35 min from my slave quarters to my floating palace. I could cut it down to 15 min with a closer marina but the additional $1100 a year for that place buys a lot of boat gas IMO.

15 minutes......
