Midnite Apogee Moon. Nikon D80 Nikon 18-200VR Hand Held 3 sec time exposure. South Florida folks may recognize this as Boynton Beach Ocean Front Park in Ocean Ridge, Fl. Taken last December.

Moonrise over Cayuga Lake on July 4th weekend.
Cheapo camera, no idea about exposure or what that even means, shutter speed - huh?, aim and shoot.

That's photography for us.

Sometimes I even manage to get the heads of my subjects in the frame of the picture.

The moon shots are great....The lunar shots are nice too......Now, how 'bout some melon shots.....

2nd pic. Canon 30D thru telescope.

DLSR is the way to go.
