Houston we have a problem

OK new motors installed trying to hook everything up and having a problem hooking up the exhaust hoses to the riser I will send a pic hopefully you guys have an idea of how to get this elbow on the riser

without having to disassemble the riser again if you guys have any tricks would love to hear about it

Not the same motor, but on my 350 MAG, I have to loosen ALL of the hose clamps, then slide the lower rubber boot all the way down onto the lower exhaust "Y" pipe. Then I can attach the elbow onto the riser and finally slide the lower rubber boot back up onto the elbow.

Thanks for the tip that actually worked but I had a lube up the boot with soap so I can slide it back-and-forth because those suckers really grab on tight thank you will be starting them tomorrow
