A friend has been looking at used Sea Ray Sundancers, and has come across a couple that have no hour meter on/near the console. Being that (IMHO) the hour meter is the equivalent of an odometer on land, I'd think this would be a mandatory feature on models that are 25+ feet in lenght, no? Is there another location where the hour meter may be located, if not near the dashboard? On our 270, they were built into the dash; on our 340, they sit on the panel just below the shifters and nav light switches. Hidden in the engine compartment? Any suggestions as to where to look would be appreciated.

the early 90s 350/370 was in the bilge near the battery switches

if nothing else turn the keys to run and listen for the click noise they make
