Hot water heater switch

Hot water tank switch on the panel keeps flipping off. This is a new to us 390 Motor Yacht. The tank is new and seems to work okay. Any ideas of why it would trip the panel? Not sure what to look for. Anyone with similar problem? Thanks.

In my RV that was happening because the heating element was bad (corroded). Installed new element and no more breaker tripping. I would check wiring first to make no loose or corroded wires that would cause resistance and trip the breaker, then pull out the element and inspect it.

we had a bad thermal switch causing this in our attwood. Easy fix, just a new little switch that goes on the outside of the unit. Attwood was really good with customer service helping us track the issue down, so you may want to reach out to them if they're the manufacturer.
