This is an important subject for owners of the 390 Motor Yacht. We have a 2004. The horn is hidden at the front of the bow in the anchor well. We were always having water in our laundry area when we cruised long distances. Also, the horn only worked in the Spring.
Well the problems were found, when we were crossing from Riviera Beach to the West End of Bahamas. The waves were 3-5 ft. The grill broke and the water pushed the horns out. This left two 3 inches holes in the anchor well. Well it was full of water in no time, and it overflowed into our front cabin. What a mess! What a bad design! Good thing we were only travelling 60 miles. I contacted SeaRay, but they have not responded.
Can you see the sea? We have patched the holes with flexi tape and an aluminum plate, hopefully this will get us home. I wanted to post more pictures, but not able to.
So if you have unexplained water or nonfunctional horns, check your grill and horn casing.
