2005 420 DA Trying to find the location of the horn compressor. Not located in front compartment where indicated in owners manual. One of the horns does not work.

Interesting. I've never seen a Sea Ray with a real horn from the factory. Only those muffled duck fart horns hidden under the bow and masked behind a vent, so that they are even less effective that they otherwise could have been.

one of the horns?
are you sure it is an air horn, not electric?
even if it is air horn - one compressor is used for both trumpets. those small compressors were usually hidden inside arch (they don't have any air tanks and produce air pressure on demand) or on boats with big air horn - big compressor with air tank under dash or inside bilge

My air horn is located behind the TV in the foward berth. In the starboard side locker we have an access hatch in which you remove 4 screws from underneath the TV; the tv will slide out to give you access. I have the old tube TV so yours might be differant.

If I remember correctly there is a rubber boot that conects the horn to the deflector out the grill on the outside. It may have come off. Mine did and was easy to snap back on. Your best bet will be to upgrade w/ andother dual low tome set of iar horns. I put em up on the Hrad top right of the radar and ran the air line down inside the side recess panel next to the helm. Power is just around the coner at the dash. I used a set from AFi that were dual low tone and comes w/ a small compressor for under 300.00.

Rocket, Thanks. Found it right where you said it would be. Compressor seems to be OK. Will look into replacing one of the horns that does not work.
