just wow... all boat companies that are on resin allocation at this time.. they could sell down here in secondsSportsman, Pursuit, Crownline, and Everglades
there is no doubt,,, my 02 410 was 130K a 2021 23 surf/tow boat is 200K plus and pontoons are mid 6 figures a well I feel i am in a dinosaur at times but dont care... people still love going out with us..I’m thinking that many will go with tow/ski or pontoons, and that group of buyers will keep them away from larger Sea Ray boats. I seen this personally with a family member. Their teen kids are more interested in the ski boats, so they purchased a ski boat and a nice pontoon Haha.
I don’t understand, can not customers or dealerships search for inventory in other locations?just wow... all boat companies that are on resin allocation at this time.. they could sell down here in seconds
its still the dealers choice... possible he is priced well beyond the market and playing chess..I don’t understand, can not customers or dealerships search for inventory in other locations?
Very true. My wife and I often comment to ourselves, “they paid what, and it doesn’t have a toilet.” We are not snobby, just a little joking between us. I have Crohn’s disease, so a toilet is ALWAYS factored into the equation. Haha.there is no doubt,,, my 02 410 was 130K a 2021 23 surf/tow boat is 200K plus and pontoons are mid 6 figures a well I feel i am in a dinosaur at times but dont care... people still love going out with us..
Nice 55s are hard to come by. We have had ours 2 years. Looked at everything on the market back then and it was sad. Found a fresh water 09 but had to pay little over 7 for it. Make sure it has been well cared for, It's a pretty complex boat with the E - Plex system. Great when its working but can be difficult when shit goes wrong.I agree with you too! I’m seeing the same thing. I have been patiently watching, and I’m beginning to see price reductions. I feel those reductions will continue. My goal is a 2008 or slightly newer 55 or 58. “IF” I can’t find our next boat, then we will continue to greatly enjoy our 380. The wife and I have agreed not to sell the 380 until we have purchased the 55 or 58. We also understand that we will not be able to sell our 380 at an inflated price, expecting to buy the next boat at an reasonable price.
Thank you for your advise!!! I’m trying to educate myself as much as I can. Yes, I have read what you are talking about. My wife and I are trying to be very objective. We found a nice looking 55 in Tennessee, but it had been damaged years ago. One motors was replaced, one was rebuilt, new generator, etc… it was a sharp “looking” boat, but I personally wouldn’t touch it. Just my opinion. I’m not bashing the mans boat, accidents happen, I just don’t want to pay for it. The electrical would really worry me too!!Nice 55s are hard to come by. We have had ours 2 years. I purchased my 390 in March of this year. I had been looking for over a year, and my son is 15yrs old, which means I only have a few more years of his attention. I've been a boater for over a decade. The whole "Covid buyer" premise is greatly overplayed.
I have a little first hand experience with this, let's call it a sampling of 60 boats sold in the last two years. I would say less than 10 of them have been a first time buyer. Most have been die hard boaters who wanted to upgrade, some of which are still looking since what they want simply isn't out there for sale.
Prices are definitely on the higher side with inventory of good boats being low. About to list my 96 450 DA which means I will be entering the market on both ends, trying to sell mine and then looking to purchase.
Didn't you just purchase this?
We are extremely happy we moved into a Bridge boat from the Sundancer for all the reasons you listed.
The only downside, at least with Sea Ray, is the lack of glass windshield.
i dont believe this. Name him.A boat dealer in Southern New Jersey has 48 unsold 2021 new boats on the lot. The 2022 boats will be coming out any day now. The market is definitely beginning to soften.
