I'm replacing the old outdated fish finder that the boat came with , with a GPS/Sonar unit. I would like to mount the new unit in a different location, but that will leave the old screw holes through the top of the dash exposed. Is there any way to close these up so they won't be visable? Thanks

It wont be cheap but all fiberglass/gelcoat can be repaired

Remodel the holes ...

Use them to mount cub holders or some such .. or install a nice counter sunk philips screw and glue in round screw head button covers.

Gelcoat might be my choice if nothing else can disguise them.

Another approach....place some caulk in the holes and dab a small amount of paint on the patch that matches the gel.

The top of the dash is padded vinyl.

oooo...
that easy
wrap it with new vinyl and you done!
btw: are sure it is vinyl? or molded foam painted to look like a vinyl?
