Hi Guys
I reciently put a hole in my hull, I hit a submerged object? I have ground out all the dammaged glass and am waiting for it to stop dripping and dry out and I would appreciate some advice. It seems there is a double layer, with foam inbetween the keel and and another layer about an inch or two above the keel in the inside.
1. Will the hull dry out easily by allowing it to drip dry?
2. Is the foam on the 99 180 BR closed foam and will this dry easily.
3. Any experience you have in drying out a hull?
Once dry I will fill the gap with epoxy putty for additional strength and fiberglass over the top , then flow coat over the top for a nice finish.
Appreciate your help.
