The holding tank is full yet the sensor is not indicating a "full" reading. I have pumped it out a refilled with fresh water and detergent and still it will not indicate a "full" reading. I now suspect I will have to remove the sensor (ugh) for a good cleaning and to verify that it is working properly. There are three sensors at the top of the tank that appear to be held in with a white rubber grommet, with the the wires coming out the top. Does anybody know how to remove the sensors from the top of the tank?

Will watch this thread to see how it goes my tank sensor only reports empty when it truly is empty. I visually have to inspect it to verify the level and pump out often to avoid what happened last year(Have tried several rounds of flushing with water and detergent with no luck.

Noflex digestor is your best bet.

I also have these sensors and had to remove them for cleaning to get them to work. Just prise each sensor out with a screwdriver or similar. On my boat the wires from the three sensors run to a common plug which you can pull apart so you can remove the three sensors out of the bilge for cleaning. To test after cleaning, reconnect the plug and move the float magnets by hand and observe the readings on the panel. If all is good reinstall the sensors into the holding tank and your good to go.

As mentioned above, i also use Noflex digester and haven't had a problem since (near on 2.5 years now).
