The service department has come under new mgmt. They charged me .5 of an hour to remove my Alpha 1 prop and an hour to put the prop back on after it was fixed. Does this sound right ?

Any reccomendations for replacing my set of batteries. I picked up my baby last saturday and shut down my engines about 300 yards from my dock to enjoy the day. 20 minutes later there was nothing from my batteries. Had to walk this 30 footer in. I guess that is why the first run of the season is a "shakedown" cruise.

Why not do it yourself? If you wish to have things done and don’t want to be shocked, have them tell you how much it’s going to be before they do the work. If the price seems excessive to you, have someone else give you a quote.

To answer your question, yes, 1 hour’s labor to only install 1 propeller on 1 alpha drive seems long.
