We have to hinge our electronics that currently exist on the hard top of our 44dancer due to bridge height. Anyone heard of or done this?

While not on a hard top, I installed a hinge on my radar to gain clearance for a covered slip. I traced the foot print of the radar mast, cut two pieces out of 3/8" 316 stainless flat stock. Used some round (316 grade) stock and a pin. Works very well. I can get some pictures this weekend if you like. I do believe scan strut makes a hinge for some of their products, it's powder coated to match if I recall.

Happens all the time where I live. Any boat with a T-Top or radar arch has a hard time getting under our bridge at high tide and has their electronics hinged. I hinged my entire arch so I'm not tide dependant. Do some searching or stop by a local marina. I bet theres numerous people who can help.

In our area there is not much help. We are hoping for suggestions.

I would love to see pics of your idea! Thanks so much!

The radar and electronics sits on our hard top directly. I am thinking of building a separate piece and attach the electronics on that then having the whole " bar" hinge to get under our 11 1/2 ft bridge.

Google or do a search. Thats were I got mine from I think SEA TECH ?????????? Not sure Was like $ 250.00
