Hello everyone, I am new to boating and this site. I am about to make a purchase of a 1978 sea ray express cabin cruiser. It seems a good deal but I am going to have a survey done as I read allot of horror stories on the net, and I am not a horror fan, i prefer comedy. Any one had experience with old boats like this. The unit is well maintained and has a claim of being recently receive and engine rebuild ( not yet verified) . I have concerns about the construction of the hull and the integrity of the stringers etc, thus the survey. If anybody has anything to say regarding these items, please share. I look forward to happy boating .
