Hi all, we have a 250DA Sundancer, moored in Caversham on the Thames. Lovely part of the River. Determined to take her out to sea this year, just our second season with her.
Absolutely Lovin it.

umm tried to post pics, but files may be too large any advise on size?

Welcome! We love London! Flew over for the Goodwood Festival of Speed a couple of summers ago (it was the 100 year celebration of F1). Spent 5 days on the Thames at the Marriott County Hall.

Go to and sign up on Photo Bucket.com. Dump some of your boat pics there. It seems to be the easiest way to post pics to this site. I also have Flickr, but haven't tried posting to CSR with that site.

Looking forward to seeing more of your boat.

Cheers Chris R

The Goodwood Festival is a great day out.
I'll give Photo Bucket.com a try.

I've only seen one other searay locally, we were in the lock together and had a good chat. he may be joining soon. I think it was a 1990 - 260. He didn't have the canopy or bimini, but is looking to get one.

Hello there, I am from Liverpool and have been in Los Angeles for 20 years now. Bought my first boat last year. This site is really great.

Ahoy there Captain Pugwash. (Chuckle)

From Liverpool to Los Angeles eh, quite a change. must be great.

I do agree I have found the site usefull and friendly. Had good advise already.

Great view, I love those shots over the bow. I'm gonna post some pics soon of the Thames.

Tony, what is the common express cruiser brand you see there?

We just returned to the States after a two year stint in the UK for my job. We lived in the Ilkley area, north of Leeds. No Sea Ray's on the canals! That is a whole different style of boating. Was able to get out on the canal boats a few times. It was a great time, except you can't understand half of what a Yorkshire man is talking about!

It was a wonderful experience living in your country and I would recommend an extended visit if you get the chance.

Welcome aboard.

The boats similar to searays I suppose are Bayliners or Sealine. Also Broom and Haines are popular.

I think we'll see more Searays out on the coast.

Hi there Boatingnut, sorry. I did reply to your post but it doesn't seem to have made it to the board somehow.

I know what you mean, the narrow boats are a different way of life, to think, at first they were for transporting cargoe and pulled by horses, now they are living quarters.

And the Yorkies definitely have a strong dialect don't they though.

Lovely part of the country.

Thanks for the welcome.
