Help with rubber stain on vinyl upholstery

Hi guys

i left some equipment with rubber feet on my bench seat. Now, the upholstery has thin greenish yellow ring where the rubber contacted the vinyl. I have tried a few mild cleaners. Tomorrow, I will try some things I saw on the web like baking soda and I might try some oil soak as well.

My thought is some king of plasticizer from the rubber soaked into the vinyl. Or maybe something came out of the vinyl into the rubber.

Luckily, it a faint thin line, but the wife will see it and I will be in trouble.

It it you have some thoughts on how to clean it OR cover with something like shoe polish, I would be grateful.

The best I have found that WILL NOT harm at all is The Malco cleaner and it is not easy to find. It is usually available in quality upholstery shops and online.

The best conditioner is a mink oil product tha gives an awesome feel to older vinyl.

Someone here on CSR steered me onto this stuff. I found it on e-bay. It's worked very well for me on vinyl so far anytime I've used it. May work for you.
