I suggest you consider nick names people may give you or something more personal to you. For example, I just bought a 98 270 DA that was named "Now or Never" and I was going to leave it. I like Elvis and that name did fit me. However, my wife and her friends have jokeingly referred to me as "King Ron" since I tend to do whatever I want and get what I want when I want and this boat was no exception.

Thus, at her suggestion, I am renaming the boat, with apporpriate hommage to Neptune, "King Ron."

Ron - I completely agree. Right now I'm struggling with some names that I like and fit me but most people do not really care for them - not really funny enough or they think they are just so so. I'm going to give it a few weekends on the boat to see what really fits. After this weekend, first weekend out, I want to call it "The Process" - everything is a big process hahaha. I'm sure some of that will decrease as I become more experienced and used to all that goes into this boat.
