We purchased a 2014 Sea Ray 260 sundeck bow rider, new to us with 100 hours on it. We have had the boat less than 6 weeks and have had the following occur. Fly by wire issues Codes 63/6 and the boat goes into guardian mode and also you have no control when you are coming towards the dock, boat does not do anything in fwd or reverse, lever moves but boat does not respond.
Mechanic has sea trialed and as a result ran into the dock and today had to replace the eye hook on the bow after gashing the hull.
Mechanic spoke with Mercury, they suggested a new helm controller or something like that, he sea trialed today and the boat failed again with the alarm and loss of control.
This boat has the 350 mag Bravo two prop drive. I have pictures of the fault codes I can show also.
Does anyone have any suggestions or know someone that may have some answers?
