Help restoring gel coat

What is the best way to restore the shine of faded gel coat? I have read that wet sanding then buffing is the best way. I have also read regarding polishers and rust removal solutions. What can I use to clean the deck? My gel coat has badly faded and has some rust stains..

If you wet sand the boat you'll kill yourself by the time you're done. :grin:

Buffing is the easiest way to go. Heres a good read on it.
