Help removing Clarion M3170 stereo please

Hello, I just purchased a 1999 260DA and it has the stock Clarion M3170 head unit. I'd like to replace it, but i can't seem to remove the old stereo. I've installed stereos in cars in the past, but this one is being a pain.

I've removed the trim around the stereo and i've tried sicking the removal keys from my new stereo on each side but the M3170 won't budge. Maybe those keys aren't matching up enough. I've done a ton of googling and searched the forums here as much as i could but still need some help.

Any tips on removing?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

You will need the correct keys to remove.
