Hi all,

I had an alarm go off for my starboard engine while at idle. I don't have a
"System monitor panel" so, I need to find it the old fashion way. My oil pressure
is good ~30 PSI and my temp was ~180. I docked the boat and found this.

If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks in advance,
Drew

It looks like the air actuated drain system that I have on my 8.1s. The little blue pump would be used to pump up the pressure to partial drain the block. Looks like something is missing on it - possible the schrader valve broke ??

The pressure relief valve is snapped in half and is open to atmosphere. You should check your anti freeze and replace that valve to start. But I am guessing that your very low on antifreeze and the alarm was either low antifreeze or over temp. You don't have your year in your info so no way of telling which.

Fixed the omission.
