I'd like to replace my shrinking side windows exterior screw cover gasket (I think thats what its called). On the outside of the window, there is a rubber that goes all the around the channel where the screws hold the window in.

Can't seem to find this same exact profile on Taylormarine.com

Any suggestions?

Here is a pic of what my rubber :smt043 looks like...

Email the picture to them, that's what I did and they gave me the part #. Be prepared...it's pricey + they charge some ridiculous packing fee.

Go to www.austinhardware.com They have rubber gaskets with different profiles that should match yoru existing. be advised that you may have to purchase a bit more due to their minimum order but it is still a better deal than a dealer for www.trimlok.com

Good Luck

I replaced mine last summer. I called Taylor and told them what year and model I had and they quickly sorted out what I needed and how much.

I bought 34' for $125 +$15 shipping +$25 Handling fee.

Was an easy install. Mine had the old foam type screw gasket so it is nice to have new rubber in there.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Emailed Taylor Made Marine with boat info and a profile picture of the gasket. They have it for 1.91/ft.
Just need to figure out how much I need to order.

Thanks!!!

Are you getting the newer, rubber stuff? Remember to order a bit extra and leave it long - sometimes shrinks a bit.
