I have a 93' 400 express in perfect condition through out.It got side swiped by some dummy and has been it the shop for 2 months with the power not hooked up and closed up.Im here in georgia.Hot and Humid) Have they caused me damage? Is there a standard procees in working on this type of boat?Coments greatly appreciated

have you been in touch with your insurance agent? Why would your boat be tied up for 2 months? was the damage extensive, and have you talked to the repair bussiness about this humidity problem?

Not much damage.Just some fiberglass and rub rail 10k .I told them about the humidity also. The people at the insurance agent swore up and down that they were qualified to fix and store that type of boat.Im going to CK on it today.

In my state the insurance company can not dictate where your insured item is repaired. If you are not comfortable with the repair place. Move the boat. Maybe do some research on the shop. Ultimately your batteries are going to be shot and tell the insurance you expect for them or the shop to replace them. A friends Regal was damaged and the shop installed a "New" radar arch - but later when installing canvas - they realized the shop installed a used Arch on the boat. The snaps didn't line up. They still have not been happy with the repairs two years later. Good luck with your repairs.
