Helm Remote and Sat Radio Questions

My helm wired Clarion radio remote is going out. How easy are they to change?

Also, when I put it on satellite radio, it says unknown channel or something like that. Anyone know what that means?

it's easy to change, it's snaking the cable to the head unit that's a bear. If the old one is there it's easier as you can use that one to pull new cord thru. The newer remote have additional pins versus older clarion remotes; beware.
