I have searched and found little on this. This weekend I noticed some cracks on the helm between the sliding door and the window actuator. I think I was so bummed about it I did not think to take pictures at the time to share. The area is about 4" circumference and is almost like paint pealing. I feel to have this professionally fixed would costs $$$$. I am wondering if anyone has come across this and if anyone may have a dyi ideas or even how I may keep it from spreading. I will try to get some pics next weekend.

Alot of views no response tells me not many have dealt with this. Spoke to a service technician in Brunswick this morning and gave my hull#. He said it is gelcoat called zephyr purchased through spectrum. We will see how it goes.

I was going to offer up that I thought it was pretty common for this age of boat. I've got some cracking starting at my helm area. I also need to replace my dash panels eventually. All par for the course for this vintage I assume?

I'd be interested to see what a marina would charge for a repair/repaint of the dash and helm area. I've seen some DIY jobs as well but it's above my skill level.

Either way I think you're FAR from the only one who has experienced this.
